Malai Pyaz
Ingredients:
2 Big onions thickly slicedOil:1 tbsp
Hing one pinch
Cumin Seeds:1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds:1/4 tsp
Methi Seeds:3-4
Kasuri Methi Powder:1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder:1/4 tsp
Red Chili Powder:1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder: 1/2 tsp
Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
Fresh Milk cream:1/2 cup
Salt to Taste
Method:
* Heat oil in a pan, Add cumin seeds in hot oil let them crackle. Add asafetida and saute for 2 to 3 seconds.Add methi seeds,fennel seeds and crushed kasuri methi.*Add Onions to it..mix well.
*Add turmeric powder, coriander powder,cumin powder. Cook for one more minute.
*Do not overcook the onions as we need little crunch to recipe.
*Once onion cooked add fresh milk cream or malai and salt.
*Mix well to combine all ingredients Cover the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on low heat.
*Your Malai Pyaz is ready to eat,serve hot with roti or paratha.
